BERLIN, Jul 5 (Xinhua) -- Werder Bremen have extended their contracts with back-up goalkeepers Jaroslav Drobny and Michael Zetterer, the Green-Whites announced on Thursday.

Both goalkeepers have agreed to a one-year contract extension.

"We are glad that Jaroslav will be with us in the coming season. With all his experience, he is a very important trainings partner," Bremen sporting director Frank Baumann said.

The 38-year-old Czech international joined Bremen in the 2016-2017 season and has made 10 appearances ever since.

"We are in constant contact with Michal Zetterer and with this contract extension we want to give him the opportunity to get back to his highest level of performance after a long injury break," Baumann added.

The 22-year-old goalkeeper has played for the Green-Whites since 2015 and has made 30 outings for the second team.

The "Werderaner" have finished the 2017-2018 Bundesliga season in 11th position of the standings.
