NEW YORK, July 8 (Xinhua) -- An earthquake measuring 5.5 on the Richter scale jolted 61km NNE of Isangel, Vanuatu, the U.S. Geological Survey (USGS) said on Sunday.
The epicenter, with a depth of 259.29 km, was initially determined to be at 19.0404 degrees south latitude and 169.5068 degrees east longitude.
