TOKYO, July 13 (Xinhua) -- The U.S. dollar changed hands in the upper 112 yen zone in early deals in Tokyo on Friday, marginally higher than its levels in New York overnight.
As markets opened here, the dollar was quoted at 112.66-70 yen compared with 112.49-59 yen in New York and 112.33-34 yen at 5 p.m. on Thursday in Tokyo.
The euro, meanwhile, fetched 1.1664-1664 dollars and 131.41-44 yen against 1.1664-1674 dollars and 131.25-35 yen in New York and 1.1684-1686 dollars and 131.25-29 yen in late Thursday afternoon trade in Tokyo.
