KHARTOUM, July 19 (Xinhua) -- Egyptian President Abdel-Fattah al-Sisi on Thursday arrived in Khartoum for an official two-day visit to Sudan, official SUNA news agency reported.
Sisi was received upon arrival at the airport by Sudanese President Omar al-Bashir, and a number of Sudanese officials.
Bashir and Sisi are scheduled to hold talks on Thursday evening to discuss means of enhancing bilateral ties and political and trade issues of mutual concern, the report said.
The Egyptian president is accompanied by ministers of foreign affairs, water resources, agriculture and defence.
