TAIPEI, July 30 (Xinhua) -- An expo to be held in Taiwan will focus on future technology.
Taiwan Design Expo 2018 will be held in the city of Taichung. It will have eight exhibition halls and two satellite exhibition areas presenting about 700 exhibits over 33 days, according to the organizer.
The expo will highlight the latest technology benefiting people's daily lives, such as 3D printing, smart clothing, and furniture.
"We hope that the expo will help provide a glimpse of the future, and give some inspiration for future development," said designer Tseng Shi-kai.
Other activities such as seminars will be held during the expo, which will open on Aug. 15.
