BEIJING, Aug. 23 (Xinhua) -- Top political advisor Wang Yang has asked political advisors to carefully study the instructions given by President Xi Jinping on enhancing the work of Chinese People's Political Consultative Conference (CPPCC).

Wang, a Standing Committee member of the Political Bureau of the Communist Party of China (CPC) Central Committee and chairman of the 13th CPPCC National Committee, asked political advisors to understand the core and essential parts of the instructions of Xi, general secretary of the CPC Central Committee and chairman of the Central Military Commission.

They should also engage in regular study sessions, create consensus during studies, and improve their work, so as to inject vigor into the cause of CPPCC in the new era, Wang said in a seminar held recently in Beijing.

In the past few months, led by the CPPCC National Committee, local CPPCC committees have launched study sessions in various forms.

"All political advisors and staff of the CPPCC organizations should participate in the studies and implement what they learn in their work," Wang said.
