BEIJING, Sept. 1 (Xinhua) -- Senior Communist Party of China (CPC) official Zhao Leji on Saturday met with Mozambican President Filipe Nyusi who will attend the 2018 Beijing Summit of the Forum on China-Africa Cooperation (FOCAC).

Zhao, a member of the Standing Committee of the Political Bureau of the CPC Central Committee and secretary of the Central Commission for Discipline Inspection of the CPC, said China and Mozambique are always good friends, good partners and good brothers.

China is ready to work with Mozambique to implement important consensus reached by heads of state of the two countries and push for China-Mozambique comprehensive strategic and cooperative partnership to a new level through Belt and Road cooperation, he said.

Nyusi said this FOCAC Beijing summit means a lot to Mozambique and Africa in terms of social economic development. Mozambique hopes to learn from China on governance experience, and enhance bilateral cooperation in all areas to benefit the people of the two countries, he said.
