BEIJING, Sept. 4 (Xinhua) -- China's top political advisor Wang Yang on Tuesday met with Kenyan President Uhuru Kenyatta who attended the 2018 Beijing Summit of the Forum on China-Africa Cooperation (FOCAC).

Wang, chairman of the Chinese People's Political Consultative Conference National Committee, said China is willing to work with Kenya to take jointly building the Belt and Road and implementing the outcomes of the FOCAC Beijing Summit as an opportunity to advance China-Kenya comprehensive strategic and cooperative partnership.

Kenyatta said the summit showed the world the solidarity and cooperation between Africa and China. He said Kenya pays high attention to strengthening the Belt and Road cooperation with China and stands ready to work with China to boost bilateral relations to new levels.
