BEIJING, Sept. 5 (Xinhua) -- China's top political advisor Wang Yang on Wednesday met with Algerian Prime Minister Ahmed Ouyahia after the 2018 Beijing Summit of the Forum on China-Africa Cooperation (FOCAC) on Sept. 3-4.
Noting that China and Algeria have deep and firm ties with solid cooperation, Wang, chairman of the National Committee of the Chinese People's Political Consultative Conference, said China stands ready to work with Algeria to maintain and consolidate the China-Algeria traditional friendship, make new achievements of mutually beneficial cooperation, and boost China-Algeria comprehensive strategic partnership to new levels.
Ouyahia spoke highly of the fruitful FOCAC Beijing Summit and China's precious support to developing countries.
He said Algeria is willing to learn from China's experience in governance and deepen the Belt and Road cooperation with China to jointly raise bilateral relations to new heights.
