SINGAPORE, Sept. 10 (Xinhua) -- Singapore stocks closed lower on Monday, with the benchmark Straits Times Index (STI) sinking 0.43 percent, or 13.47 points, to close at 3,120.92.
A total of 1.82 billion shares changed hands with a turnover of 905.8 million Singapore dollars (about 656.9 million U.S. dollars). Losers outnumbered gainers by 281 to 135.
The STI index went down 0.42 percent, or 13.3 points, to close at 3,134.39 last Friday. Enditem
