BEIJING, Sept. 13 (Xinhua) -- Senior Communist Party of China (CPC) official You Quan Thursday met with a delegation from Hong Kong Special Administrative Region (HKSAR) consisting of representatives of major accounting industry organizations.
You, a member of the Secretariat of the CPC Central Committee and head of the United Front Work Department of the CPC Central Committee, expressed appreciation of the contributions made by the accounting industry in maintaining Hong Kong's prosperity and stability and promoting the mainland's reform and opening-up.
He called on the region's accounting industry, as well as professionals in other sectors, to carry on their patriotic spirit of loving both the country and Hong Kong, support the SAR's government to exercise law-based governance, advance the process for Hong Kong to integrate its own development into the overall development of the country, and help the growth of the youth in the industry.
