PARIS, Sept. 17 (Xinhua) -- French shares ended flat on Monday, with the benchmark Paris CAC 40 down 0.07 percent, or 3.7 points, to close at 5,348.87 points.
Of the 40 selected large companies, 25 rose in the day.
French-Italian multinational electronics and semiconductor manufacturer STMicroelectronics was down 1.73 percent, the top loser of the blue chips. French multinational luxury goods conglomerate LVMH lost 1.44 percent. Another French international luxury group Kering lost 1.39 percent.
European IT services corporation Atos rose 2.12 percent. French multinational banking and financial services company Societe Generale rose 1.38 percent. French multinational retailer Carrefour rose 1.08 percent. Enditem
