LONDON, Sept. 17 (Xinhua) -- British stocks decreased on Monday, with the benchmark FTSE 100 Index down by 0.03 percent, or 1.94 points, to close at 7,302.10 points.
SSE, a Scottish energy company, soared 3.55 percent, the top gainer of the blue chips. Evraz and Carnival increased by 2.48 percent and 2.36 percent, respectively.
Gvc Holdings, a multinational sports betting and gaming group, was the worst performer in the blue chips, with its shares losing 3.49 percent.
