TEHRAN, Sept. 18 (Xinhua) -- Iran has always attached great importance to its relations with China, and the bilateral relationship is firm, Iranian Deputy Foreign Minister Seyed Kazem Sajjadpour said Tuesday.

The Iran-China relationship is "solid and immune to the third-party factor," he said.

"It is the fruit of common values and common interests," the senior Iranian diplomat told Xinhua, adding that there is all kinds of cooperation between the two countries.

"The China-Iran relationship is very important for different reasons," said Sajjadpour, citing political, economic and energy cooperation as examples.
