FRANKFURT, Sept. 21 (Xinhua) -- German stocks rose on Friday, with the benchmark DAX index up 104.40 points, or 0.85 percent, to close at 12,430.88 points.
Energy group E.ON won the most among the blue chips, with its shares up 3.09 percent. German multinational software corporation SAP and reinsurance company Munich Re rose by 2.28 percent and 1.77 percent respectively.
Semiconductor manufacturer Infineon Technologies lost the most among the blue chips, by falling 1.27 percent. Renal dialysis equipment supplier Fresenius Medical was down by 1.14 percent. Housing association Vonovia was down by 0.88 percent.
Multinational chemical firm Linde was the most-traded share with a turnover of 1.74 billion euros (2.04 billion U.S. dollars). Enditem
