BEIJING, Sept. 23 (Xinhua) -- Despite of Johnathan Aparecido's excellent job, Tianjin TEDA failed to extend their 2-0 lead to a victory and had to draw 2-2 with Beijing Renhe in the 23rd round of the Chinese Super League (CSL) on Sunday.
Aparecido of Tianjin TEDA was the clutch for Tianjin's 2-0 lead. He opened the scoring in the 10th minute and created a penalty in the 26th minute as Frank Acheampong converted it to enlarge the lead to 2-0.
Beijing Renhe then changed the balance of power on court in their favor. Makhete Diop and Kenyan forward Ayub Masika netted two goals for Beijing Renhe to see a 2-2 tie.
Another game on Sunday was also a draw. Chongqing Lifan broke the deadlock in the 58th minute with an own goal from Guangzhou R&F's Huang Zhengyu, but the home side found an equalizer ten minutes later when Xiao Zhi found the net with his header after receiving a left-wing cross from Lu Lin.
