BERLIN, Sept. 26 (Xinhua) -- Terminal 2 of Munich Airport in Germany was temporarily closed on Wednesday after a security check problem.

The reason of the lockout was not immediately clear.

The federal police, who were dispatched to the terminal, later tweeted on its official account that some travelers had "probably" entered the security area without being properly checked.

It is the second time the airport has encountered this problem.

On July 28, the same terminal was evacuated when a women passed the security gate without being checked.

More than 300 flights were canceled and about 31,000 passengers were affected over that weekend.
