Cui Zhe wins women's 41kg powerlifting for China's first gold

JAKARTA, Oct. 7 (Xinhua) -- Cui Zhe lifted 100kg on Sunday to win the women's 41kg powerlifting, the first gold medal for China at the 3rd Asian Para Games here.

Cui, silver medalist of the event at 2016 Rio Paralympics, failed to lift 100kg on the second attempt, but made amend on the final lift to win the title.

Indonesia's Ni Nengah Widiasih failed twice on 101kg to take the silver medal while Syria's Noura Baddour was third.
