BUENOS AIRES, Oct. 15 (Xinhua) -- China's Tang Xijing dominated the girls' balance beam final to clinch the gold at the Youth Olympics here on Monday.
Tang, who qualified in first place, posted a total score of 14.033, comfortably ahead of second-placed Kseniia Klimenko of Russia, who finished with 13.533.
Britain's Amelie Morgan took the bronze medal with an overall tally of 13.033 points.
China also secured a podium finish in the boys' parallel bars on Monday, with Yin Dehang finishing second behind Japan's Kitazono Takeru.
Russia's Sergei Naidin grabbed the bronze while Ukraine's Nazar Chepurnyi was fourth.
