KIEV, Oct. 16 (Xinhua) -- Two pilots were killed on Tuesday when a Su-27 fighter jet crashed during a training mission in central Ukraine, the General Staff of the Ukrainian Armed Forces said on Facebook.
The plane went down at about 5:00 p.m. local time (GMT 1400) near the village of Ulaniv in Vinnytsya region, it said.
Local media have reported that the jet was taking part in the international aviation exercises "Clear Sky-2018", which are currently underway in Vinnytsya region and its neighboring Khmelnytsky region.
