ULAN BATOR, Nov.10 (Xinhua) -- Mongolia's largest traditional round-shaped dwelling, or Mongolian ger, was included in the Guinness Book of Records as the largest ger in the world, local media reported Saturday, citing ger maker Selnen company.

The construction of the ger with a diameter of 28.81 meters and a maximum capacity of 500 people took four months, the company said in a statement.

The giant ger in Khatanbulag soum in the southeastern province of Dornogovi was constructed to show Mongolia's nomadic lifestyle to foreign and domestic tourists.
