MANILA, Nov. 18 (Xinhua) -- Four people, including three children, were killed after a passenger bus rammed into a tricycle in Zambales, a province in the Philippine main Luzon island, on Saturday night.
Police said the accident took place around 10 p.m. on Saturday. The bus reportedly hit the tricycle, a motorcycle with a sidecar, killing its driver on the spot.
The three children, two of them siblings, died later at a local hospital where they were taken, police said.
An initial police investigation showed the tricycle veered into the opposite lane of the highway to avoid an oncoming motorcycle.
