Abu Dhabi exports up by 41 pct in Q3

DUBAI, Dec. 6 (Xinhua) -- The total value of Abu Dhabi exports hit 13.4 billion dirhams (3.65 billion U.S. dollars) in the third quarter of 2018, state-run WAM news agency reported on Thursday.

Abu Dhabi export has increased by 41 percent compared to 9.5 billion dirhams in the same period in 2017, the report said.

The report attributed the increase to the support of the business sector with its exports reaching 3.7 billion dirhams, up 39.9 percent year on year.

The pearl, cars, heavy transportation and livestock products have constituted 96.6 percent of the total exports, according to the report.
