Dollar changes hands in mid-112 yen range in early trade in Tokyo

TOKYO, Dec. 10 (Xinhua) -- The U.S. dollar traded in the mid-112 yen range in early deals in Tokyo on Monday, dropping from the upper 112 yen zone in New York late last week.

As markets opened here, the dollar was quoted at 112.53-54 yen compared with 112.69-79 yen in New York and 112.77-78 yen at 5 p.m. on Friday in Tokyo.

The euro, meanwhile, fetched 1.1402-1402 dollars and 128.30-34 yen against 1.1375-1385 dollars and 128.47-57 yen in New York and 1.1372-1373 dollars and 128.24-28 yen in late Friday afternoon trade in Tokyo.
