Spanish stock market drops 1.76 pct Monday

MADRID, Dec. 10 (Xinhua) -- Spanish shares lost on Monday with the benchmark stock market index Ibex-35 down 1.76 percent or 155.50 points, to a total of 8,660 points.

A total of 34 of the selected 35 large companies lost in the day.

Supermarket chain DIA plummeted 7.35 percent, being the top loser of the session. Media company Mediaset fell 5.37 percent and airline group IAG dropped 4.76 percent.

Infrastructure company Tecnicas Reunidas advanced 4.80 percent, while electricity company Endesa and airline group AENA lost 0.20 percent and 0.29 percent respectively. Enditem
