Kampala, Jan. 10 (Xinhua)--China-Uganda cooperation enjoys promising prospects as more cooperation projects have been launched, said Zhao Xiufen, Commercial Counselor of the Chinese Embassy in Uganda.

"A batch of major projects will be completed this year, and the positives effects of Chinese-invested industrial parks will be seen, which will open up new frontiers for bilateral cooperation," Zhao said.

Li Jincheng, a representative of the Chinese Enterprises Chamber in Uganda, said that the communication between Chinese enterprises and the Ugandan government has been facilitated, adding that Chinese enterprises have always been enthusiastic about public welfare there.

Zhao called on the Chinese Enterprises Chamber in Uganda to play a bigger role in safeguarding Chinese firms' interests and helping them fulfill their social responsibilities.
