HONG KONG, Jan. 23 (Xinhua) -- Hong Kong stocks closed up 2.75 points, or 0.01 percent, to 27,008.2 points on Wednesday.

The benchmark Hang Seng Index traded between 26,879.91 and 27,131.22. Turnover totaled 77.82 billion Hong Kong dollars (about 9.91 billion U.S. dollars).
