SHANGHAI, Jan. 29 (Xinhua) -- Shanghai's air quality has been improving, local authorities said Tuesday.
According to a report released by the Shanghai Municipal Ecological Environment Bureau, Shanghai had 296 good air days in 2018, accounting for 81.1 percent of all days last year and the highest percentage since 2013.
Last year, the average densities of major pollutants like PM 2.5, PM 10, sulfur dioxide and nitrogen dioxide all decreased compared with 2017, and were all the lowest levels since 2013. Sulfur dioxide reported the biggest drop, according to the bureau.
