Spanish stock market gains 1.30 pct Tuesday

MADRID, Feb. 5 (Xinhua) -- Spanish shares gained on Tuesday with the benchmark stock market index Ibex-35 up 1.30 percent or 116.80 points, to a total of 9,092 points.

A total of 29 of the selected 35 large companies gained in the session.

Spain's retail company Inditex advanced 3 percent, Spain's fourth largest bank Bankia rose 2.84 percent and hotel chain Melia Hotels went up 2.49 percent.

Real estate companies Merlin lost 1.42 percent and Inmobiliaria Colonial was down 1.06 percent. Media company Mediaset went down 0.47 percent. Enditem
