German shares lose 1.05 pct Friday

FRANKFURT, Feb. 8 (Xinhua) -- German shares lost on Friday, with the benchmark DAX index down 115.24 points, or 1.05 percent, to close at 10,906.78 points.

Global internet technology and financial services provider Wirecard lost the most among the blue chips, down by 12.54 percent, followed by industrial giant Thyssenkrupp and automotive supplier Continental, which lost 4.44 percent and 2.73 percent respectively.

Multinational software corporation SAP, energy group RWE and multinational chemical firm Linde were the top three winners, rising 0.77 percent, 0.47 percent and 0.32 percent respectively.

Automotive manufacturer Daimler was the most traded share of the day with a turnover of 283.7 million euros (321.7 million U.S. dollars). Enditem
