WASHINGTON, Feb. 13 (Xinhua) -- The Cleveland Cavaliers center Kevin Love will not play in Wednesday's game against the Brooklyn Nets in order to get more rest, the team announced.

Love, who's just come back from his long-time recovery following the foot operation last November, made his debut since the injury last Friday, against the Washington Wizards, and scored four points in six minutes. He then played more time in Monday's game against the New York Knicks and collected 14 points.

The Cavs, now sitting 14th place in the East Conference, are pleased with Love's recovery but don't want to push him too hard.

Love has averaged 15.7 points and 10.7 rebounds per game this season.
