Star guard Thomas likely to make debut for Nuggets in game against Kings

WASHINGTON, Feb. 13 (Xinhua) -- The Denver Nuggets guard Isaiah Thomas is likely to make his debut with the team this season in Wednesday's game against the Sacramento Kings, local media reported.

Thomas has been out all season so far for recovering from offseason hip surgery.

Thomas, 30, was on a rocky road in the past two seasons. After leading the Boston Celtics to the Eastern Conference Finals in the 2016-17 campaign, he was traded to the Cleveland Cavaliers in the Kyrie Irving deal last season. Then he was troubled by the hip injury and never felt comfortable in Cleveland.

Before joining the Nuggets, Thomas also played for the Los Angeles Lakers last season.
