Dollar changes hands just below 111 yen line in early trade in Tokyo

TOKYO, Feb. 14 (Xinhua) -- The U.S. dollar changed hands just below the 111 yen line in early deals in Tokyo on Thursday, predominantly in line with its levels in New York overnight.

As markets opened here, the dollar was quoted at 110.93-94 yen compared with 110.95-111.05 yen in New York and 110.68-69 yen at 5 p.m. on Wednesday in Tokyo.

The euro, meanwhile, fetched 1.1263-1264 dollars and 124.94-95 yen against 1.1256-1266 dollars and 124.99-125.09 yen in New York and 1.1319-1320 dollars and 125.28-32 yen in late Wednesday afternoon trade in Tokyo.
