FRANKFURT, Feb. 18 (Xinhua) -- German stocks closed flat on Monday, with the benchmark DAX index down 0.60 points, or 0.01 percent, to close at 11,299.20 points.
Deutsche Post lost 2.39 percent, the top loser among the blue chips, followed by industrial giant Thyssenkrupp and German airlines Lufthansa, which lost 1.70 percent and 1.34 percent respectively.
Global internet technology and financial services provider Wirecard gained 15.12 percent, the top gainer. Chemical and consumer goods company Henkel and German telecommunications company Deutsche Telekom advanced 1.59 percent and 0.84 percent respectively.
