TEEHRAN, Feb. 19 (Xinhua) -- Iran's Saipa soccer team suffered a late 3-1 defeat to Al Rayyan of Qatar in Doha's Jassim bin Hamad Stadium on Tuesday.
Arman Ramezani scored an early goal for the Iranian club but Gelmin Rivas levelled the match in the 27th minute.
Sebastian Soria and Rivas were on targets in the last minutes of the match to seal a 3-1 win for the Qatari club.
Al Rayyan eye advancing beyond the group stage in the upcoming ACL tournament.
