76ers Embiid out at least one week with sore knee

WASHINGTON, Feb. 21 (Xinhua) -- The Philadelphia 76ers announced Wednesday that All-Star center Joel Embiid will be out for at least a week with a sore left knee.

Embiid, 24, is averaging 27.3 points and 13.5 rebounds in 54 games for the Sixers. He had 10 points and 12 rebounds in 23 minutes in last Sunday's All-Star game.

Embiid was the No. 3 overall pick of the 2014 draft and missed all of the first two seasons of his career because of injuries, and then he missed 51 games in his third year.
