CHICAGO, Feb. 25 (Xinhua) -- Chicago Board of Trade (CBOT) soybean futures rallied on Monday morning over progress in the latest round of U.S.-China trade talks.

Chinese and U.S. negotiators on Sunday wrapped up the seventh round of high-level trade talks between the world's top two economies with substantial progress on specific issues such as technology transfer, protection of intellectual property rights, non-tariff barriers, service industry, agriculture and exchange rates.

The progress boosted CBOT soybeans amid expectations that U.S. farmers could sell more soybeans to the world's top buyer, China.

As of 1622 GMT, the most active soybean contract for May delivery was up 5.5 cents to 9.2925 dollars per bushel, while May corn was down 2 cents to 3.825 U.S. dollars per bushel, and May wheat was down 15.75 cents to 4.76 dollars per bushel. Enditem
