LONDON, March 4 (Xinhua) -- British stocks rose on Monday, with the benchmark FTSE 100 Index up by 0.39 percent, or 27.66 points, to close at 7,134.39 points.
Rightmove, a UK-based online real estate portal company, soared 5.15 percent, the top gainer of the blue chips. NMC Health and DS Smith increased by 3.70 percent and 2.85 percent, respectively.
International Consolidated Airline, an Anglo-Spanish multinational airline holding company, was the worst performer in the blue chips, with its shares losing 4.81 percent.
