TUNIS, March 7 (Xinhua) -- A fund worth 3 million euros (3.36 million U.S. dollars) was allocated on Thursday to the "Skills Initiative for Africa" program to strengthen the infrastructure of vocational training centers in Tunisia, Tunis Afrique Presse (TAP) reported Thursday.
"This program, initiated by the European Union and subsidized by the German Development Bank, targets eight African countries including Tunisia," TAP quoted Khaled Raouani, national co-coordinator of "Skills Initiative for Africa" program, as saying.
"Skills Initiative for Africa" program helps improve the economic and social prospects of young people on the African continent by offering training programs as well as supports for African competencies, Raouani said.
