HANOI, March 13 (Xinhua) -- The ASEAN+3 singing contest 2019 has been launched, open to professional pop singers aged 18-35 from 10 members of the Association of Southeast Asian Nations (ASEAN), Vietnam News Agency reported on Wednesday.
Organized by Vietnam's national radio station "Voice of Vietnam", the contest will take place in Ha Long city, northern Quang Ninh province from July 26-29. The semi-final and final rounds are scheduled for July 27 and July 28, respectively.
Guest singers from China, South Korea and Japan will perform on the final night.
On the sidelines of the event, contestants and invitees will visit the world heritage site Ha Long Bay and a modern museum in the province.
