MAZAR-E-SHARIF, Afghanistan, March 14 (Xinhua) -- Gunshots were heard near the police headquarters in Mazar-e-Sharif city, the capital of Afghanistan's northern Balkh province on Thursday, an official said on the condition of anonymity.
