14 killed in traffic accident in northern Morocco

RABAT, April 3 (Xinhua) -- At least 14 people were killed in a traffic accident on Wednesday in northern Morocco, said Morocco's state news agency MAP.

According to MAP, a truck carrying farm workers crashed into another vehicle near the town of Moulay Bousselham, causing 14 dead and 30 injured.

The local authorities have sent police and rescuers to the place, and the injured were transported to local hospitals in Kenitra, said MAP.

An investigation has been conducted by the authorities into the accident, it added.
