FRANKFURT, April 4 (Xinhua) -- German stocks edged up on Thursday, with the benchmark DAX index up 33.61 points, or 0.28 percent, to close at 11,988.01 points.
Global internet technology and financial services provider Wirecard won the most among the blue chips, with its shares up 1.85 percent. German airlines Lufthansa and automotive manufacturer Daimler rose by 1.73 percent and 1.32 percent respectively.
Industrial giant Thyssenkrupp lost the most among the blue chips, by falling 1.27 percent. Energy group RWE and Deutsche Bank went down by 1.25 percent and 0.82 percent respectively.
Multinational software corporation SAP was the most-traded share with a turnover of 233.7 million euros (267.7 million U.S. dollars). Enditem
