TEHRAN, April 7 (Xinhua) -- If the United States blacklists Iran's Islamic Revolutionary Guard Corps (IRGC) as a terrorist organization, Iran will take similar measure with the U.S. army, a senior Iranian lawmaker said on Sunday.
Heshmatollah Falahat Pishe, chairman of the Iran's parliament's National Security and Foreign Policy Commission, told Tasnim news agency that the Iranian parliament has prepared a motion in this regard.
According to the motion, "Iran will consider the U.S. army as a terrorist organization if the United States designates the IRGC a terrorist group," Falahat Pishe was quoted as saying.
Western media reported on Friday that the United States is expected to designate the IRGC a terrorist organization.
