BEIJING, April 12 (Xinhua) -- A 6.8-magnitude earthquake jolted waters near the Indonesian island of Sulawesi, at 7:40 p.m. Friday, according to the China Earthquake Networks Center (CENC).
The epicenter was monitored at 1.91 degrees south latitude and 122.62 degrees east longitude. The quake struck at a depth of 10 km, the center said in a statement.
