GUANGZHOU, April 19 (Xinhua) -- A total of 104 flights have been canceled by 11:30 a.m. Friday at the Baiyun International Airport in south China's Guangdong Province after a thunderstorm hit the airport.
Another 66 flights at the airport have been delayed.
Airport authorities issued a blue-coded alert due to the thunderstorm.
China has a four-tier color-coded weather warning system, with red representing the most severe, followed by orange, yellow and blue.
