Xi stresses enhanced studies of May Fourth Movement, spirit

BEIJING, April 20 (Xinhua) -- Xi Jinping, general secretary of the Communist Party of China (CPC) Central Committee, on Friday stressed efforts to strengthen studies of the May Fourth Movement and spirit, and motivate young people to make unremitting contributions to national rejuvenation.

Xi made the remarks at a group study session of the CPC Central Committee Political Bureau as the 100th anniversary of the movement draws near.
