BELO HORIZONTE, April 21 (Xinhua) -- Veteran striker Fred converted a late penalty to help Cruzeiro to a 3-2 aggregate victory over Atletico Mineiro in the Minas Gerais state championship.
The 1-1 draw at Atletico's Independencia stadium followed Cruzeiro's 2-1 victory in the first leg and extended the latter's unbeaten run to 19 matches.
