DHAKA, April 21 (Xinhua) -- A two-day summit on business process outsourcing (BPO) began in Bangladesh's capital Dhaka on Sunday with a view to presenting future prospects.
The event, with the theme "Transforming Service to Digital," was organized by the Bangladeshi government's Directorate of Information and Communication Technology (ICT) and the Bangladesh Association of Call Centre and Outsourcing (BACCO).
Scores of local and foreign analysts attended the summit. Bangladesh's Prime Minister's ICT Affairs Adviser Sajeeb Wajed Joy inaugurated the summit.
According to the organizers, the summit particularly highlights the road Bangladesh traveled from 2008 by the country's BPO industry and identifies and discusses key points for the road ahead.
