Senior lawmakers meet before closing of top legislature bimonthly session

BEIJING, April 23 (Xinhua) -- The Standing Committee of the National People's Congress (NPC) held a chairpersons meeting Tuesday afternoon before the closing of the top legislature's bimonthly session.

Li Zhanshu, chairman of the NPC Standing Committee, presided over the meeting.

The meeting decided to submit drafts including the revised laws on judges and procurators, and a draft amendment to eight laws including the Construction Law.
